So I made these yesterday. WOW. They're awesome! I put bacon in the batter (as well as sprinkling diced bacon on top), so they've got an extra bit of texture to them. Sooooo good, thanks for sharing!!

Did the cakes deflate a lot while they were cooling? This is a problem I usually have with sponge cake type of cakes--they always collapse after cooling.

I went to school in Massachusetts and we used to have "peanut butter squares' for breakfast, only ours were nice and warm... I've even contacted the person in charge of the cafeteria at my old high school to see if maybe they will provide me with the recipe. I know this recipe here doesn't need any baking, but I wonder if the ones from school were actually baked or maybe just heated up? Anyone know of a baked recipe for these?

Before I comment on your post, I have to say your dog, Daisy is CUTE! Thumbs Up!

Now, I do think that the dog biscuits looks good but it's a little too thin. Have you tried making thicker ones? I'm currently looking for ingredients to bake a dog cake which hopefully, I'll be able to share it on my dog cake recipes blog. Any ideas?

My mom has is a GM of Donatos and is leaving after 8 years. We are throwing her a surprise party and I can't wait to tackle this cake for her. :) What flavor cake did you use? I was thinking just a normmal yellow cake but if you have a better idea that would compliment the strawberry preserve and white chocolate, I would love to know!!

I made these cupcakes for Easter and everyone was so scared to try them. Once I forced them on my cupcakes, they really did love them. I think they taste better after they're refrigerated and cold. They are very thick and filling. One cupcake goes a LONG way. I took some to work and they were a hit! Thanks so much for recipe!!!

You have a great talent! This cake looks so good! I would be a happy camper. My daughter loves SpongeBob Square Pants and we always watch Nickelodeon. She gets to use DISH Online to keep up with the latest episodes. As a DISH employee I can tell you that with DISH Online you can stream live TV and DVR events onto our computer. Go to www.dishnetwork.com for more info.
