Fruit rollups actually have a natural kind now, its just like fruit leather but thin like fruit roll ups, that’s what I use when I make candy sushi, its better in my opinion than using those bright colors. I wonder if fondant would be good to use instead of the almond paste…?

I love love love this design, its so simple yet completely complicated. What kind of cake is it? I would love to pull something like this off for my boyfriend’s birthday, he’s a diehard fan, i actually lve the Red Sox, go figure. I’ve been craving these things since elementary school. That’s about 35 years ago. We just used to call them peanut butter squares. The Hollywood squares I remember from back then were with Paul Lind, funny dude. I hope these taste similar to the ones at Southdown elementary in Huntington, Long Island NY.
